Teller Part Time

Position Overview As a part‑time Teller within PNC's Retail Branch organization, you will provide exceptional customer service, accurately perform high‑volume customer banking transactions, educate customers on new technology and develop banking product referral opportunities through strong customer‑relationship skills. This position is based in Glen Ridge, NJ at the Glen Ridge retail banking branch. Responsibilities Deliver unique customer experience that improves financial wellbeing and creates loyalty while increasing share of wallet. Process a variety of customer interactions. Educate customers on alternatives available for their financial interactions. Identify banking opportunities during customer interaction and refer as appropriate. Perform lobby engagement activities to connect with customers and position PNC products to meet their needs. Educate customers on options for managing financial transactions by leveraging technology, tools and resources. Apply product and procedural knowledge to solve customer problems. Adhere to all policies and procedures, demonstrating sound judgment within established limits. Ensure teller and branch daily operations and maintenance transactions are completed efficiently and accurately. Expectations Customer Focused – Knowledgeable of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and able to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions. Managing Risk – Assessing and effectively managing all of the risks associated with their business objectives and activities to ensure they adhere to and support PNC’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework. Experience – No prior experience required. Roles at this level typically do not require a university or college degree, high school diploma, GED, or significant product knowledge. A comparable combination of education, job‑specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered. Education – No degree required. Compensation Base Salary: $17.31 – $28.85 per hour. Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and the individual’s skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
