Position Highlights:
You will operate as a vital part of a Cancer Services/Oncology team, collaborating with a diverse group of providers and immersing yourself in advanced technology. Exposure to different workplace practices will sharpen your skills, especially if you're experienced with Ethos or Varian machines, and offers multiple leadership styles and clinical protocols to learn from.


Schedule/Hours:

• Day shift, Monday through Friday: 7:30 am - 4:30 pm (8-hour shifts)
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week
• No Saturdays
• Floating to other Radiation Oncology locations as needed

What We're Looking For:

• NYS Radiologic Technologists Therapy License required
• ARRT(T) and BLS certifications
• Experience on Ethos or Varian equipment preferred
• Skilled in adult acute care, custom molds/shields, tumor localization, IMRT, external beam therapy, and radiation safety
• EPIC proficiency
• Strong communication abilities and adaptability
• Dependable, punctual, works well independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, effective radiation therapy according to prescribed protocols
• Utilize advanced imaging and treatment planning systems
• Apply tumor localization, custom shields, and blocks techniques
• Maintain rigorous quality and patient safety standards
• Follow infection control, isolation, and PPE protocols
• Employ critical thinking during rapid response/code situations
