Travel Radiation Therapist in Pittsford, NY

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 4:30 pm (8-hour day shifts, 40 guaranteed hours per week)
• No scheduled Saturdays
• Floating may be required to various Radiation Oncology locations

Desired Qualifications:

• NYS Radiologic Technologists (Therapy) License (required)
• ARRT (T) and BLS certifications (required)
• Experience with Ethos or Varian equipment preferred
• Familiarity with EPIC
• Background in Adult Acute Care and Oncology settings
• Skills in IMRT, External Beam Therapy, tumor localization, custom shielding/molding, and radiation safety
• Strong communication, adaptability, and punctuality; able to work independently and within a team

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer radiation therapy treatments following physicians' prescriptions
• Perform patient assessments and education
• Manage imaging and treatment planning (CBCT/kV/mV)
• Monitor safety protocols, isolation precautions, and code responses
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
