Orthopedic Surgeon

Seeking BC/BE Orthopedic Surgeon with expertise in primary and revision total joint replacement to join its established orthopedic practice.

This is a rare opportunity to step into a mature, high-volume joint replacement program while working alongside an experienced orthopedic surgeon during a planned succession. Over the next several years, you'll assume increasing surgical volume, complexity, and long-term leadership of one of the hospital's flagship service lines without the challenge of building a practice from scratch.

Practice Environment

Hospital offers a modern, highly efficient orthopedic program where clinic, imaging, operating rooms, rehabilitation, and inpatient services are all located on one campus.

• Three modern operating rooms
• On-site MRI, CT, Mini C-Arm, and radiology
• Six CRNAs with excellent OR support
• 24/7 physician-staffed Emergency Department
• Flexible block scheduling with dedicated OR time

APPs manage many initial evaluations and most routine postoperative follow-up visits, allowing surgeons to focus on operative care and complex cases.

Schedule & Call

• 4.5-day clinic/OR schedule
• Dedicated administrative time
• Flexible call model averaging approximately 25% monthly coverage
• Additional paid call opportunities available
• Optional outreach clinic

Compensation & Benefits

• Guaranteed base salary: $641,000 $757,000+
• $140,000 bonus package , including:
  • $50,000 sign-on bonus
  • $90,000 retention bonuses over three years
• Additional paid call opportunities ($2,500/weekend)
• 35 days PTO
• 10 days CME plus $7,500 CME allowance
• $10,000 relocation assistance
