CNA/Sitter PRN Shifts - Houston - $21/hr jobs-in Houston,TX,US

Job Opportunity

Care Type: Cases in private homes, caring for individuals aged 6 months to 100 years old.

Work Hours: Shifts vary from 4 to 14 hours, with the average being 8 hours.

Pay Rate: $21 per hour.

Schedule Flexibility: PRN (as-needed basis), allowing you to pick up as few or as many shifts as you like, up to 40 hours per week.

Requirements:

• Certifications:
• American Heart Association (AHA) CPR
• First Aid Certification
• Valid CNA License (TX)
• TB Skin Test or Chest X-ray
• Vaccination records or Titers for Hepatitis B, MMR, Varicella
• Tdap vaccination (less than 10 years old)
• Clean criminal background and able to pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen.
• Experience:
• At least 2 years experience in Acute Care, Pediatrics, Long-Term Care (LTC), or Home Health, serving patients from infants to geriatrics.

Service Areas:

Houston Metro: Cypress, Katy, Richmond, Sugar Land, Pearland, Humble, Fresno, Pasadena, Atascocita, Spring, Baytown, SW and SE Houston.

Caregiver Responsibilities:

• Arrive 10 minutes early for each shift.
• Bring government-issued photo identification.
• Provide professional appearance and demeanor.
• Engage with the family and care recipient (assist with daily living activities, supervise play for children, provide companionship for elders).
• Follow care instructions and family rules.
• Maintain a clean environment and prepare meals/snacks as required.
• Important Restrictions:
• Do not use personal devices or household equipment without authorization.
• Avoid discussing personal information, wages, or agency hiring practices.
