About the Role The Facilities Supervisor is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for equipment reliability, maintenance execution, and safety compliance. Oversees overall operation and maintenance of critical infrastructure (electrical, fire suppression, and HVAC equipment) supporting two data centers and other critical spaces and equipment. Manages BMS alerts and notifications for critical infrastructure systems to ensure services are effectively delivered. Manages preventive and corrective maintenance of fire suppression systems and electrical power systems, including UPS, generators, and distribution panels. Develops and implements a disaster recovery plan for critical electrical equipment. Ensures vendor performance meets contractual and quality requirements. Builds relationships and partnerships with facilities operations and maintenance teams. Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, inspections, and permits. Participates in occasional weekend projects and on‑call emergencies. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree with five years of experience in Engineering, Architecture or Facility Management, or ten years of hands‑on experience without a degree. Bachelor’s degree candidates preferably have a Building Operator’s Certification. Technical knowledge of construction, engineering, or architecture. Experience with HVAC, electrical systems, data center environments, plumbing, fire protection, building management systems, and computerized maintenance management systems. Proficiency in computer systems and CMMS. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Able to work independently and maintain confidentiality. Skilled in problem‑solving and decision‑making.
