Sign on Bonus: $5000

Make a meaningful difference in patients' lives by evaluating and treating individuals with physical, emotional, cognitive, and/or psychosocial challenges during their critical recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand each patient's unique abilities and barriers to safe, independent living—and develop personalized treatment plans that drive real progress

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions and modalities, carefully monitoring outcomes and adapting your approach to maximize patient recovery and independence

• Document patient progress with precision and insight, creating a clear narrative of transformation and achievement throughout the rehabilitation process

• Partner collaboratively with patients and their families, providing education and support that empowers them to understand challenges and embrace adaptive strategies for long-term success

• Guide discharge planning with expertise, ensuring seamless transitions and equipping patients with the adaptive equipment and community resources they need to thrive beyond the hospital

• Lead and mentor certified occupational therapy assistants and therapy technicians, fostering a culture of excellence and ensuring the highest standards of patient care and professional practice

• Seek consultation proactively and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes and contribute to a dynamic, supportive care environment

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Bachelor's degree required from an accredited school of Occupational Therapy.
• Master's degree preferred from an accredited school of Occupational Therapy.
• BLS 
• Current State of Michigan Licensure - Occupational Therapy
