Job TitleLabcorp is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join their Specimen Processing and Accessioning team in Calabasas, CA.Work ScheduleWednesday - Sunday 5:00pm - 1:30am. Additional days and hours may be required depending on business needsJob ResponsibilitiesPrepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testingUnpack and route specimens to their respective staging areasAccurately identify and label specimensPack and ship specimens to proper testing facilitiesMeet department activity and production goalsProperly prepare and store excess specimen samplesData entry of patient information in an accurate and timely mannerResolve and document any problem specimensMinimum QualificationHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent requiredPreferred QualificationCurrent or prior Labcorp experience3 months or more of experience in a lab or specimen processing3 months or more of experience in a medical/clinical laboratory environment3 months or more of experience in the healthcare industry, such as a physician's office, clinic or hospital3 months or more of experience in an assembly or manufacturing production environmentAdditional Job StandardsComfortable handling biological specimensAbility to accurately identify specimensExperience working in a team environmentStrong data entry and organizational skillsHigh level of attention to detailProficient in MS OfficeAble to lift up to 40lbs.Able to pass a standardized color blindness testPay Range$17.75 - $20.75 per hour.
