Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program

• AART Certification in Radiation Therapy

• Valid Radiation Therapy state license, if required

• 2 years' experience as a radiation therapist

• BLS certification

• ARRT T certification

• Experience with CT Simulation, MRI, PET Scan, tumor localization, block cutting, CBCT/kV/mV imaging, wedges, dose calculation, external beam therapy, IMRT, ARIA, Pinnacle (Philips), Eclipse (Varian), Varian 21 ex/ix, simulation of treatment sites, and CT/iCT

• Experience with adult acute care

• Experience with radiation safety, isolation precautions, use of rapid response/code teams, and lift/transfer devices

Additional Duties

• Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment

• Accurately position patients and ensure proper immobilization during treatment

• Verify treatment plans and dosage with oncology team

• Monitor patients for adverse reactions during and after therapy

• Document treatments and maintain accurate patient records

Assignment Details

5x8-hour schedule.

Hours: 08:00 - 17:30.
