Patient Services Advocate

*Patient Services Representative - Dental* Location: (Insert Location) | Full-Time
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused *Patient Services Representative* to support our dental operations team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring a smooth patient experience by managing scheduling, registration, and insurance-related processes while serving as a key liaison between patients and dental providers.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Complete patient registration by collecting and verifying *demographic and insurance information*
* *Determine appropriate fees and collect patient payments accurately*
* *Schedule and confirm patient appointments and manage incoming referrals*
* *Verify dental codes and insurance coverage* to ensure accurate billing
* Serve as a liaison between *dental students/providers and patients*, ensuring clear communication and coordination
* Provide appointment reminders and follow-up communications
* Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
* Prepare and reconcile daily payments, including handling deposits
* Support front office operations with a strong focus on *customer service and patient satisfaction*
*Required Qualifications*
* 2+ years of experience in a *healthcare or dental setting* (dental experience strongly preferred)
* 2+ years of *customer service experience*
* *Knowledge of third-party reimbursement and insurance processes*
* *Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)*
* *Strong organizational, mathematical, and data entry skills*

* Ability to multitask and remain flexible in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to read, interpret, and explain insurance and billing information

*Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $21.50/hr.
