The Soul Center YMCA is seeking a Member Services Team Member to join our Welcome Center team on Saturdays and Sundays from 9:45 AM to 2:00 PM. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys customer service, building relationships, and being part of a welcoming, wellness-focused environment.

As the first point of contact for members and guests, you'll play an important role in creating a positive experience for everyone who walks through our doors. Located within the Beverly Athletic Club, the Soul Center YMCA offers a unique atmosphere focused on health, wellness, and community, including a beautiful indoor saltwater pool.

What You'll Do

• Welcome members, guests, and program participants with friendly and professional customer service
• Answer questions and provide support both in person and over the phone
• Give tours to prospective members and help connect individuals and families to YMCA programs and services
• Assist with membership inquiries, updates, and account needs
• Build meaningful relationships that encourage member engagement and retention
• Address concerns professionally and escalate issues when appropriate
• Follow YMCA policies and procedures related to member services and safety
• Help maintain a welcoming, clean, and inclusive environment for all

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ for opening and closing shifts and 16+ for all other shifts
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Ability to build connections with individuals from diverse backgrounds
• Previous customer service, sales, or related experience preferred
• Basic computer skills and comfort with learning new systems

Schedule

Weekend Position

• Saturdays: 9:45 AM 2:00 PM
• Sundays: 9:45 AM 2:00 PM
