Seeking passionate special education professionals for two rewarding contract positions in a dynamic K-8 educational setting near Minneapolis. You’ll have the unique opportunity to work across both middle and elementary school levels, delivering instruction via both pull-out groups and inclusion services. This is a full-time W2 opportunity, spanning the 2026-2027 school year, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, and offers an hourly pay range of $37 to $44, depending on experience.
What you’ll need to succeed in this role:
- Valid Tier 3 or Tier 4 Minnesota Special Education Teaching license (SPED)
- Demonstrated experience teaching students with diverse learning needs in K-8 environments
- Strong collaboration skills—work closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families
- Ability to adapt instruction and modify curriculum to meet IEP goals
- Excellent communication skills with a commitment to fostering an inclusive classroom environment
- Previous experience delivering both pull-out and inclusion-based special education services is highly desirable
In this role, you’ll:
- Deliver engaging instruction in both individual and small group settings for students receiving special education services
- Collaborate in IEP meetings, providing input on goals, accommodations, and student progress
- Implement data-driven strategies to monitor and support student growth
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to classroom teachers to ensure successful inclusion
- Communicate regularly with families to keep them informed and engaged in their child’s progress
