As Senior Designer you lead an inhouse team of thinkers and doers and set the design standard for all that we create here at Sportex. The right Senior Designer will bring a mix of marketing expertise and business understanding to the position, promoting our company and that of our valued clients. We’re looking for an experienced manager of people, someone that can inspire others, taking our creative to a new level as we continue to grow. The ideal candidate will have a natural eye for design and a drive to inspire dynamic ideas that connect with our amazing industry and national industrial client base.

 

The Sportex Senior Designer will lead the creation of various graphics and high level look development, as well as provide integral creative feedback to keep our art team fueled and inspired.

 

To excel at this position you must be well versed and excited about:

· Various logo types that can work across a spectrum of physical products.

· Large format graphics for signs, banners, wall wraps etc.

· Concepting new ideas for products based on production capabilities.

· Ability to create amazing T-Shirt graphics

· Exceptional Booklet, brochure, & layout design

· Digital design for Online Marketing

· Growing and elevating our internal brand

· Bonus: Ui and Digital design for web platforms

· Proven experience with concept development

· Highly skilled with leading a team of creative talent

· Strong creative vision with an understanding of business objectives

· Awesome presentation skills and campaign ideation, development and execution

 

Requirements

Eligible candidates should meet the following criteria.

· Strong Portfolio with excellent creative thinking and flawless execution

· 5+ Years Experience in managing an art or creative team of designers

· Designing for Physical Products ( Apparel, Signage, Promo Products etc.)

· Experience in creating Project Presentations and Presenting to Clients

· Ability to manage multiple projects with ever changing deadlines.

· Excellent organization and time management

· Self-starting and a 'can do' attitude.

· Strong desire to improve design skills and grow under influence of senior designers.

· 7+ years Adobe CC experience

· Work well with creative feedback and revisions.

 

Bonus:

· 3D Design Skills (Cinema 4D or other equivalent)

· Ui Design Experience

· HTML/CSS experience

· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Graphic Design/related discipline
