Learn more about Dollar General at General Summary: Highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Logistics Analyst on the Outbound Transportation Team. Strong background in transportation network design in a large-scale retail environment and be proficient using Blue Yonder modeling tools. The role requires a deep understanding of supply chain metrics and the ability to utilize data analytics tools such as 1010data, Excel, and Power BI to measure costs and improve performance. Job Details: Duties and Responsibilites:

• Network Design and Optimization
• Design and optimize the outbound store delivery network for both the Traditional (Dry) and Refrigerated/Frozen (Fresh) distribution centers.
• Conduct transportation modeling analysis to drive operational efficiencies and cost reductions while proactively accounting for network growth.
• Continuously improve delivery footprints and store delivery schedules to enhance enterprise efficiency.
• Transportation Systems
  • Accountable for routing/planning process implementation, ongoing maintenance, and continuous improvement within Transportation Management System (TMS)
  • Requires thorough understanding of TMS capabilities; responsible for parameter testing and designing optimal solutions.
  • Liaison to IT for all Transportation systems.
• Analytics / Reporting
  • Utilize Blue Yonder TMS Software, 1010data, Power Bi, and Excel to conduct in-depth analysis of transportation network.
  • Craft and maintain comprehensive performance dashboards with automated reporting.
  • Develop and deliver compelling presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilites:

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience with reporting and data analysis.
• Advanced knowledge of data analytics software, including 1010data, Excel, and Power Bi.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Problem solver who can work independently and in a team environment.
• Executes with a sense of urgency; exhibits the ability to balance speed and precision
• Proficiency in Blue Yonder transportation software (preferred)

Work Experience &/or Education: Bachelor's degree in business or supply chain preferred with a minimum of 3 years relevant work experience required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
