Responsibilities Alan B. Miller Medical Center opening in Spring 2026! A neighborhood hospital with medical center excellence! The new state‑of‑the‑art hospital will join UHS’ growing regional network of healthcare operations which includes Wellington Regional Medical Center, the ER at Westlake (an extension of Wellington Regional Medical Center), Wellington Physicians Urgent Care and other healthcare services and access points. The Alan B. Miller Medical Center will feature 150 private patient rooms, a medical office building and a helistop. Upon completion of the initial phase of the project, the hospital campus will include 365,000 square feet of hospital and medical office space. RN, Cath Lab (36 Hours A Week with Call) The Cardiac Catheterization / Electrophysiology Registered Nurse (Cath/EP RN) provides specialized nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac and electrophysiology procedures in the acute care hospital setting. This role supports patient care across the continuum including pre‑procedure assessment, intra‑procedure monitoring and medication administration, and post‑procedure recovery. The Cath/EP RN collaborates with cardiologists, electrophysiologists, technologists, anesthesia, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high‑quality patient care. Qualifications RN Job Requirements Education Requirements Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Associate’s degree required; BSN preferred. Experience Minimum of 1 to 2 years of acute care nursing experience required. Prior experience in critical care, emergency department, PACU, IR, Cath Lab strongly preferred. Experience with cardiac monitoring, vasoactive medications, and rapid clinical assessment preferred. Skills Advanced cardiac assessment and rhythm interpretation skills. Ability to manage patients undergoing invasive cardiovascular and electrophysiology procedures. Strong critical thinking and rapid decision‑making abilities in high‑acuity situations. Knowledge of sterile technique, vascular access management, and post‑procedure hemostasis. Excellent communication, teamwork, and time‑management skills. Proficiency with electronic medical records and procedural documentation systems. License / Certification Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment. Basic Life Support (BLS) required. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required. Travel Requirements Minimal.
