Patient Access Intake Rep (Revenue Cycle Specialist Front-End)

Front-End Revenue Cycle Specialist Hours: 40 hrs per week Shift: Day shift, hours vary 5:30am – 6:00pm with weekend and holiday rotation Location: Charlton Memorial Hospital, Fall River, MA Benefits Culture of well-being that embraces, respects, and celebrates diversity Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits package Generous earned time off package Employee well-being program 403(b) retirement plan with company match Tuition assistance / federal loan forgiveness programs Professional growth opportunities and customized leadership training Responsibilities Patient registration, insurance verification, pre-registration and point of service collections Accurate patient data entry and education of patients on financial responsibilities Financial counseling referrals, Medicare compliance (IM and MOON forms), valuables management and morgue coordination Customer service, regulatory compliance and collaboration with clinical and revenue cycle teams On‑site coverage at public arrival desks and the Emergency Department Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred Medical Terminology Certificate preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong computer skills including medical based programs Proficiency with Word, Excel, and other software programs Over three years related health‑care experience with third‑party payers preferred CHAM or CHAA certification encouraged Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID‑19 or exempt with statement Compensation $17.86 – $28.76 per hour, pay rate determined based on experience.
