As a Registered Nurse at our Freestanding Emergency Room , your insights and contributions to patient care are highly regarded and encouraged at every level. Position Overview and Qualifications

The Registered Nurse is responsible for coordinating and delivering exceptional, patient-focused care that aligns with departmental needs and adheres to the standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. Working alongside medical professionals and other care team members, the RN provides personalized, thorough, and compassionate care by utilizing established nursing frameworks such as “Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.” The RN acts as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying the organization’s vision, mission, and values to ensure an outstanding patient experience and clinical results that enhance overall departmental performance.

• Regularly evaluates patient pain to facilitate effective pain management, including follow-up assessments after interventions.
• Executes procedures, monitoring, or other tasks as directed by medical providers, ensuring timely and comprehensive documentation in the patient’s medical record.
• Delivers outstanding care by promptly addressing patient requests and proactively anticipating their needs.
• Educates patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, potential side effects, and follow-up actions, simplifying complex medical language for better understanding.
• Instructs patients, families, and caregivers on non-pharmacological follow-up strategies, such as healthy eating, exercise, disease prevention, and lifestyle modifications, preparing them for future self-management.

Required Qualifications:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within six months of starting employment.
• Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course certification must be completed within 18 months of starting employment.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification must be acquired within 60 days of starting employment.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course certification must be obtained within 18 months of starting employment.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Associate Degree in Nursing.
• No travel is required.
• One year of nursing experience is required, with a preference for candidates with over one year of ER experience.
