They are seeking an Operations Manager to oversee a key area of their manufacturing operation, providing leadership, coordinating day-to-day activities, and supporting operational efficiency within a dynamic and specialized business environment.

THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:

• Oversee plant operations and production.
• Provide production oversite, continuous improvement and lean principles
• Supervise a team of 10 direct reports
• Work with other departments and oversee them through the supervisors. Including production, maintenance, shipping, quality, supply chain and engineering.
• Implement and maintain preventative maintenance plans, production improvement plans and cost reductions.
• Manage plant expenditures within the budget guidelines.

Job Requirements

BACKGROUND PROFILE:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Related Field-preferred.
• 5 + Years of Manufacturing Management Experience.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing methodologies, process improvement principles, Lean Principles and overall manufacturing knowledge.
• P&L, Budget and costing experience would be beneficial.
• Ideal candidate would be a quick study and eager to learn.
• Good communication skills, people skills and problem solving are a must.
