• Flexible schedules: Available minimum 3 days a week; available Saturday or Sunday and through our grand opening in September
\n
• Shift Length: 6–8 hours Dayside Hours between: 4:00 AM – 6:00 PM Evening Hours between: 12:00 PM – 12:00 AM

• Pay:   Base Pay: $16.10/hour  Overnight Rate: $20.00/hour  Premium Pay: Additional $1.00/hour for shifts worked between 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Position Purpose:

As a L.L. Bean Guide, you'll be the heartbeat of our brand-new Flagship store, delivering world-class service with a smile. You'll be the face of the L.L.Bean brand, engaging customers, keeping our store in tip-top shape, and fostering a spirit of teamwork. Your role will be ever-changing and exciting, working in multiple areas, and adapting to the needs of the day while showcasing your product knowledge, processing skills and/or service expertise. Get ready to make every customer feel like a part of our outdoor-loving family!

Flagship Store Front of House Positions (sales floor, registers) :

• Use PCs, Point Of Sale, answering outside phone calls, and mobile devices to provide seamless, fast omni-channel service.
\n
• Actively approach and assist multiple customers, providing personal and genuine service interactions. 
\n
• Drive excitement around L.L.Bean sponsored programs, including Outdoor Discovery Program and the L.L.Bean Mastercard program. 
\n
• Ensure a well-organized store, uphold visual and merchandising standards, and support store operations processes. 
\n

Flagship Store Back Of House Positions (operations, replenishment):

• Use PCs, Point Of Sale, answer incoming phone calls, and mobile devices to provide seamless, fast omni-channel service.
\n
• Able to perform basic and repetitive functions alone with ability to learn new systems.
\n
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
\n
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
\n
• Ensure a well-organized store, uphold visual and merchandising standards, and support store operations processes.
\n
• Approach and assist multiple customers, providing personal and genuine service interactions.

3rd Shift Position:

• Use PCs, Point Of Sale, and mobile devices to provide seamless, fast omni-channel service.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Physical Demands:

• Required to stand, walk during shift; talk or hear, both in person and by radio headset; Occasionally ascend or descend ladders, stairs, ramps  
\n
• Able to walk/stand for 6-8 hour shift
\n
• Repetitive motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers; occasionally required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 20 pounds may  
\n
• Occasionally move and lift objects up to 40 pounds (utilizing a team lift as needed) 
\n

L.L.Bean uses a market-based compensation approach. The anticipated starting base pay for this position is $16.10 - $20.00. Individual compensation may vary based on factors such as a candidate’s experience, qualifications, education, geographic location, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.\n
