Project Manager / Superintendent

Job Description Rockfinnan Construction Inc. is an established commercial flooring contractor serving the New York metropolitan area. We specialize in concrete polishing, epoxy and resinous flooring systems, decorative concrete, waterproofing, and specialty floor coverings. As our company continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Superintendent to join our team immediately. We are looking for a motivated professional who has a strong work ethic, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to successfully manage multiple commercial flooring projects. The ideal candidate will have New York industry experience and be willing to learn and implement Rockfinnan Construction's systems and standards. Key Responsibilities Manage commercial flooring projects from award through final completion. Coordinate field crews, subcontractors, suppliers, and project schedules. Maintain quality control and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. Conduct regular site visits and supervise field operations. Attend project meetings with owners, general contractors, architects, and consultants. Review drawings, specifications, submittals, and project schedules. Coordinate material procurement and equipment requirements. Track project costs, labor productivity, and progress. Prepare daily reports and maintain project documentation. Resolve field issues promptly while maintaining excellent client relationships. Work closely with estimating and office staff to ensure successful project delivery. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager, Superintendent, or Foreman within the commercial flooring or related construction industry. New York Experience Preferred Strong knowledge of concrete polishing. Strong knowledge of epoxy flooring systems. Strong knowledge of resinous flooring systems. Strong knowledge of urethane cement systems. Strong knowledge of surface preparation. Strong knowledge of moisture mitigation. Strong knowledge of decorative concrete. Strong knowledge of commercial flooring installations. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Valid driver's license with the ability to travel throughout the NYC metropolitan area. Preferred Qualifications OSHA 30 Certification. Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar construction management software. Experience working on commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, parking garage, and retail projects. What We Offer Salary: $100,000+, based on experience. Performance-based bonus opportunities.
