About the Position
TravelNurseSource is working with United Health Care Staffing, Inc. to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Watertown, New York, 13602!
- Specialty: MS/Tele Float RN
- 13-Week Contract Assignment
- Shift: 12-Hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Guaranteed 36 Hours per Week
- Weekend, Holiday, and Call Rotation Required
- Float to Med/Surg, PCU, ICU, ED, and Pediatrics units
- Provide quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting
- Monitor telemetry and cardiac patients closely
- May be required to assume charge nurse responsibilities
- Document patient care using MEDITECH charting system
- Follow patient safety protocols including safe patient handling and lift usage

Requirements
- Current NY RN License required
- Coronary Care experience required
- Minimum 1 successful travel assignment completed
- First-time travelers will not be considered
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
- Previous hospital RN experience preferred
- BLS Certification required
- ACLS Certification required
- Strong knowledge of nursing principles and patient care practices
- Ability to assess clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual patient needs
- Strong leadership, prioritization, and delegation skills
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in stressful situations
