TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Greensboro, North Carolina, 27403!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active license required Certifications: BLS ACLS NIHSS PALS Must-Have: EPIC experience required Travel experience preferred Description: Immediate start needed. Orientation hours are required prior to beginning. Candidates may start with pending compliance items. Shifts are 3x12 hours, working 7 PM to 7:30 AM. Staff are expected to work weekends and holidays as needed. A minimum of 8 weekend shifts are required per contract. Floating to other units may be required as needed. Experience in a general emergency department is necessary. The patient ratio during nights is 1:5. Responsibilities include blood product administration, central line care and management, and phlebotomy. Candidates should have experience with starting IVs and managing ventilated patients. Knowledge of continuous IV sedation and IV vasopressors is necessary. Candidates should be familiar with triage procedures and interpretation of arterial blood gases. All candidates must maintain current certifications including BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS. Experience working with various patient age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics is required. Candidates are expected to demonstrate teamwork and effective communication skills in a dynamic environment. Additional skills include CPAP/BiPAP management and dysrhythmia interpretation. Compliance with health and safety guidelines is mandatory. Travelers may be floated to other campuses as needed. All registered nurses must pass a compliance EKG exam during orientation. Modules may be required for orientation and are unit based.
