Quality Control Manager

Job Details Location: Columbia, SC (must reside in Columbia, SC at the start of the contract) Type: Full‑time, 12‑month assignment with option to extend Initial onsite requirement: First two weeks onsite (no exception), with remote work thereafter Reporting to: Director of UEC Construction Support Daily Duties / Responsibilities Perform tests on technical solutions to isolate and solve issues, including initiating tests, analyzing results, and proposing solutions. Develop test plans, QA and User Acceptance Testing processes, and test cases for product management and software development teams. Test software applications for reliability and stability, implementing testing programs and ensuring quality assurance on technical applications, including negative testing and usability testing. Lead projects to perform quality assessments that expose security flaws, reveal defects, and identify areas for optimization and increased usability. Create quality assurance documentation and reports as required. Adhere to and recommend improvements to established software testing governance policies, best practices, and guidelines. Coordinate with product development teams and software engineers to recommend solutions that maximize performance and efficiency. Perform reviews, walkthroughs, or inspections and adhere to established governance standards. Required Skills 5 years translating business requirements or policy documentation into test cases and scenarios. 5 years building test cases and scenarios into test systems. Document and support the development and execution of test scenarios/cases. Ability to communicate and publish status reports of all open issues and gaps found during the test phase and articulate details to development teams. Preferred Skills 5+ years of large enterprise or e‑business systems experience. Knowledge of healthcare operations (preferably Medicaid) and business processes. Proficiency in Atlassian tool suite, including JIRA and Confluence. Experience working in a standard SDLC (waterfall methodology) and Agile delivery. 2 years experience testing Curam programs.
