What You Will Do

Reporting into the Accounting Manager, this role is responsible for the day-to-day bookkeeping functions at Plant Strong, handling accounts receivable and accounts payable across QuickBooks, Desktop, and Bill.com.From invoicing and collections to vendor management and EDI responsibilities, you'll keep the financial engine running smoothly while also supporting the broader accounting team through month-end close processes.
Responsibilities:

• A/R invoicing & recording deposits
• A/R Collections
• Manager customer database in QuickBooks Desktop
• Assist with disputing customer deductions
• Prepare and review periodic A/R Aging reports
• A/P bill management in Bill.com and QuickBooks Desktop
• Manage vendor database in Bill.com and QuickBooks Desktop
• Manage EDI-related responsibilities
• Assist the accounting department with month end close processes
• Other duties as assigned by Accounting Manager

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years accounting/bookkeeping experience in the consumer goods industry
• Knowledge of general accounting responsibilities, systems and procedures
• Proficiency in MS Office and QuickBooks
• Experience with accounting platforms such as Bill.com and Expensify
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
