Power BI Lead

Job Summary:
Seeking a Lead Power BI Developer to modernize legacy reporting into Power BI solutions, serving as technical lead for a development team while ensuring high-quality, standardized, and accurate reporting deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead redesign and modernization of legacy reports into Power BI solutions
- Mentor and guide a team of 4+ Power BI developers
- Coordinate with data engineers and ETL teams for accurate data sourcing
- Build accessible, standardized reports meeting governance and documentation standards
- Test and validate reports for accuracy and consistency
- Gather requirements and maintain technical documentation
Required Skills & Certifications:
- 5+ years developing Power BI reports/dashboards in an enterprise environment
- 5+ years experience with ETL and reporting/BI tools
- 5+ years as Technical Lead for a team of 4+ developers
- 5+ years strong communication skills for technical/non-technical audiences
- 5+ years understanding of data models and visualization best practices
