Electro-Mechanical Assembly TechnicianApex Systems is currently hiring for an Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician with a global aerospace and aviation technology manufacturing client. This team supports the production of industry-leading in-flight entertainment, satellite connectivity, and antenna systems used by commercial airlines around the world. This role will support manufacturing operations by performing electro-mechanical assembly, soldering, testing, and quality inspections on production and prototype hardware.Qualified candidates will have the following experience and skills:3+ years of electro-mechanical assembly and testing experience in a manufacturing environmentExperience soldering to IPC-610 standards and performing rework using IPC-7711/7721 proceduresAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings, assembly instructions, and manufacturing documentationExperience using hand tools, calibrated tools, torque drivers, torque wrenches, and assembly fixturesHands-on experience assembling and disassembling mechanical and electrical assembliesExperience performing basic functional testing, including continuity, dielectric, and bonding testsProficient computer skills for accessing drawings, work instructions, and production documentationStrong attention to detail with a commitment to quality, safety, and meeting production goalsLocation: Orange County, CAOnsite Expectation: 100% OnsitePay Range: $20-30/hourApex Systems offers a range of supplemental benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and other insurance plans that offer an optional layer of financial protection.
