LVT - Licensed Vet Tech Join our team at Veterinary Referral Surgical Practice in Roswell, GA! We specialize in advanced surgical procedures for pets, providing compassionate high-quality care and expertise. As a Licensed Veterinary Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting the surgeons with surgeries, caring for animals pre and post op, and educating at discharge for post op care. Daily Responsibilities: Assist with surgical preparation and induction Provide anesthesia monitoring and patient recovery care Proper use of veterinary terminology Maintain complete and accurate medical records and invoicing Administer fluid therapy and medications Educate clients on post-operative care Required Skills: Knowledge of surgical sterile prep procedures Knowledgeable of surgical instrumentation Proficiency in anesthesia monitoring and induction Proficient in drug calculations Proficient in animals handling (dogs and cats) Leadership experience is a plus Minimum Salary: $58,000.00 Maximum Salary: $65,000.00 Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) and tuition reimbursement Holiday pay and paid time off Employment Type: Full Time Years Experience: 3 - 5 years Salary: $58,000 - $65,000 Annual Bonus/Commission: No
