Job Title: Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist / Behavioral Health Worker

Location: North Hollywood, CA

Pay Rate: $22–$24+/hour (DOE, negotiable based on experience)

Job Type: Full-Time

About the Role:Legacy Staffing is seeking compassionate and qualified individuals to support our client in a mental health and social services setting. This role involves working directly with individuals through both one-on-one and group therapeutic activities, while maintaining accurate documentation. The ideal candidate brings a strong educational background along with a passion for helping others.

Schedule: Sunday – Thursday (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities:

Facilitate and support individual and group therapeutic activities
Document client interactions and progress through detailed progress notes
Maintain accurate and timely case documentation (EHR experience preferred)
Support clients in daily activities and promote a positive, structured environment
Collaborate with clinical and support staff to ensure quality care
Follow all program guidelines, safety protocols, and confidentiality standards

Qualifications:

Minimum education requirement: Associate's Degree (AA) with Experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Mental Health, Social Services, Psychology, or related field
Ability to pass a drug screen, health screening, TB test, and criminal background check including a Live Scan
Experience facilitating group and/or individual therapeutic activities
Experience with progress note documentation (EHR preferred, but not required)
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Compassionate, patient, and able to work in a team environment

Training & Development:

Willing to train the right candidate with the appropriate education and attitude
