Medication Care Manager Senior Living

Certified Medication Aide (CMA) We’re seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) for our Mira Vie at Fanwood community in Fanwood, NJ. We want our people to realize their full potential and support residents with medication management and personal care. Responsibilities Provide care to residents between medication passes. Follow each resident’s service plan and assist with medication administration per physician orders and Medication Administration Record. Document completion of daily tasks and observed changes in residents’ condition per local rules, regulations, and policies. Communicate with other Medication Aides about resident needs to ensure consistent quality service. Participate in meal service including serving, clearing, and cleaning the dining room. Manage staff under supervision during working hours. Maintain required certifications from local and state licensing agencies, including ongoing in‑service trainings, accreditations, coursework, and certifications. Follow the Continuous Quality Improvement program and report any issues to the immediate supervisor. Adhere to all local, state, and federal rules and regulations (HIPAA, OSHA, Blood‑Borne Pathogen Guidelines). Work safely, support other employees, correct unsafe actions, and assist with injury investigations and return‑to‑work when necessary. Required Skills and Experience High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED). One year of experience in a caregiving role or similar. State‑required HHA Certification or CNA License. At least six months of supervisory experience in a health‑related field. Ability to read physician orders and match them to Medication Administration Records.
