Senior Litigation Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Senior Litigation Associate in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey. The ideal candidate will have over five years of defense-side complex litigation experience and a strong interest in developing an employment law practice. Duties Draft and respond to pleadings. Manage written and electronic discovery, including e‑discovery strategy. Draft and argue dispositive and non‑dispositive motions. Take and defend depositions. Lead or substantially participate in mediations and trials. Mentor junior attorneys and collaborate with litigation teams. Requirements Admission to the New Jersey and New York Bars. Excellent academic credentials. Advanced writing, analytical, and advocacy skills. Ability to manage multiple complex matters in a fast‑paced environment. Collaborative mindset and strong commitment to client service. Initiative, sound judgment, adaptability, and leadership presence. Interest in business development and long‑term practice growth. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Bar admission in New Jersey and New York. Skills Strong analytical and advocacy skills. Excellent written and verbal communication.
