Overview
Registered Nurse, OB/GYN travel assignment in Mauston, Wisconsin. Start date 07/20/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Weekly pay range $2,358–$2,462 per week with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Night shift consists of 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 pm–7:30 am) in a clinic setting. This assignment is with Healthforce Healthcare LLC and offers professional nursing care for maternal and newborn patients, with collaboration across the care team to support families through labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period.

Responsibilities
- Conduct initial nursing histories, assess patients’ conditions, and develop individualized plans of care for obstetric patients.
- Appropriately triage care needs based on presenting symptoms and evolving labor status; monitor fetal well-being with intermittent fetal monitoring as indicated.
- Manage labor progression, including induction of labor and cervical ripening, and respond to obstetric emergencies within the scope of practice.
- Administer medications accurately, monitor for adverse effects, and coordinate timely interventions with the provider and care team.
- Assess newborns after delivery, recognize situations requiring heightened surveillance, perform neonatal resuscitation within scope, monitor for hypoglycemia, hypothermia, and jaundice, and educate families on newborn care.

Requirements
- Licensure: Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license active and in good standing.
- Education: ADN required; BSN preferred.
- Certifications: AHA BLS within 1 month of hire; NRP within 6 months of hire; STABLE within 1 year of hire; Intermediate Fetal Monitoring within 1 year of hire.
- Experience/Background: Two-year nursing degree required; four-year degree preferred. Experience in obstetric or newborn/nursery care is beneficial but not required.
- Additional: Ability to work in a clinic setting with night-shift requirements; strong attention to detail and effective communication with the care team.
