Pay Range $38.20 - $57.30 Location Atrium Health Cabarrus is a 457-bed tertiary care facility serving Cabarrus, Mecklenburg, and surrounding counties. It is a Level III Trauma Center with a wide range of specialty services. Qualifications Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association Chemo/Bio course completion within 3-4 months of hire VABC is not required but highly encouraged after 2 years on our team. Experienced/Successful with PIV placements Responsibilities As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. Skills you will learn: Ultrasound guided PIV placements, Midline and PICC line placements, administering chemotherapy, biotherapy, insertion of SBFT’s, and therapeutic phlebotomy. Round on all central lines/midlines daily and document line necessity. Focus on preventing central line blood stream infections. Compensation and Benefits Benefits Eligible: Yes.
