Registered Nurse (RN) - Supervisor

Nurse Supervisor – Clinical Leader

Schedule: Full-Time Night Shift (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), 3 days per week, every other weekend, holiday as needed

Assignment Details: Guaranteed Hours: Contract Weeks: 13

Requirements:

• NYS RN Licensure
• 3 years of acute RN experience
• 1 year of critical care experience (preferably in Emergency Department)
• 1 year of leadership/charge nurse experience
• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Coordinate clinical activities within the acute care setting during evening, night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
• Provide clinical leadership and assistance to nurses in planning, organizing, evaluating, and delivering nursing care to patients of all ages.
• Collaborate with nursing leaders and staff to monitor and adjust staffing levels based on patient acuity.
• Support nursing staff in managing emergency clinical and administrative situations according to established guidelines.
• Evaluate the quality and effectiveness of healthcare delivery on assigned shifts and provide professional coaching and mentoring.
• Maintain effective communication and collegial relationships within the organization and the healthcare community.

Compliance / Notes: Occupational exposure to blood borne pathogens is reasonably anticipated. Required tasks may involve potential contact with blood, body fluids, and tissues.
