Position Details: Location: Santa Clarita, CA Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday Compensation: $65-$75 per hour, with potential variations based on experience, expertise, and location. Additional benefits include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and administer IV infusions and injections for patients with chronic illnesses. Prepare biologics and educate patients on medication risks, benefits, and side effects. Collaborate with ordering providers to discuss care plans and communicate with referring providers to ensure documentation meets medication criteria. Verify medical records and diagnostic tests, review pertinent labs and reports. Keep Medical Director and Nursing Director informed of clinical updates and issues. Manage registered nurses and other clinic staff, addressing any issues that arise. Education & Experience: Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with National Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner or post-master level certificate in pediatrics. Current basic life support/AED & ACLS certification. Minimum two years of experience in hospital, clinic, and/or ambulatory settings caring for children and adults. Must be comfortable handling emergency situations. Demonstrates leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Additional Skills: Proficiency with EMR systems. Comfortable starting IVs and managing infusion reactions appropriately. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
