Family Nurse Practitioner

A growing primary care practice in Stockton, California is seeking an experienced FNP for a full-time, four-day workweek role — Monday through Thursday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM — caring for patients from age 2 to 99 across acute, chronic, and preventive needs. This is an early-stage practice with an on-site medical director available for complex cases, a collaborative culture that rejects factory-style medicine, and real room for an autonomous NP to help shape the practice from the ground up. California AB 890 independent practice providers especially welcome. Key Responsibilities Assess, diagnose, and build evidence-based treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions Perform routine and annual exams and preventive screenings across all ages Order, interpret, and track diagnostic labs, X-rays, and imaging Counsel patients on treatment plans, preventive care, and medication adherence Collaborate with on-site medical director on complex cases and clinical questions Qualifications Active California RN license and CA NP certification (Board of Registered Nursing) National FNP or AGPCNP certification through AANP or ANCC Active DEA registration with California furnishing number required Current standardized procedure agreement eligibility required Primary care experience with confidence to work independently day to day California AB 890 (103-NP or 104-NP) independent practice eligibility strongly preferred Current Medicare and Medicaid credentialing or ability to credential quickly preferred Self-starter comfortable in an entrepreneurial, early-stage practice environment Schedule & Compensation $65–$95/hour Full-time | Monday–Thursday | 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Outpatient only | On-site Stockton, CA CEU assistance | Malpractice covered Immediate hire The application and hiring process for this position will be managed through NPHire, a nurse practitioner and physician assistant job board connecting APPs with top opportunities nationwide. #J-18808-Ljbffr
