We are seeking a reliable, customer-focused Produce Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining fresh, attractive produce displays, assisting customers with product selection, and ensuring the produce department remains clean, organized, and fully stocked. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to providing excellent customer service.ResponsibilitiesStock, rotate, and replenish fresh fruits and vegetables.Inspect produce for quality, freshness, and proper presentation.Create and maintain attractive produce displays.Assist customers with locating products and answering questions.Monitor inventory levels and notify management of low stock.Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the department.Remove damaged, spoiled, or expired products.Follow food safety procedures and company policies.Assist with unloading and organizing deliveries as needed.Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve department goals.QualificationsPrevious grocery, produce, retail, or customer service experience preferred but not required.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.Strong customer service and communication skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
