If you take pride in keeping things clean, organized, and running smoothly while helping provide quality meals to residents, we’d love to hear from you.
About the Role
As a Dietary Aide , you’ll play an important role in supporting daily kitchen operations and ensuring residents receive meals in a safe, timely, and sanitary manner. You’ll work closely with the Cook and Dietary Supervisor while contributing to a positive dining experience for our residents.
What You’ll Do
- Set up and serve meal trays to residents
- Assist with food preparation, snacks, and nourishments
- Wash dishes and operate the dishwasher safely and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, equipment, and dining spaces
- Monitor dishwashing temperatures and sanitation standards
- Store food and supplies in an organized and sanitary manner
- Take out trash and support overall kitchen upkeep
- Work collaboratively with dietary and facility staff to meet daily needs
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Food Handler’s Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to stay organized and work efficiently in a busy environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Experience in food service or healthcare settings is a plus, but not required
