Licensed Practical Nurse Unit Manager Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse Unit Manager to join our team at Vivo Healthcare Harbourwood Clearwater, FL. As a Unit Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nursing units, providing exceptional patient care, and coordinating with our interdisciplinary team to ensure excellent outcomes. Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of the nursing unit, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and assessing patient needs Coordinate with the interdisciplinary team, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans Conduct patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, and provide education to patients and families Supervise and mentor Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to ensure providing high-quality patient care Manage unit resources, including staffing, supplies, and equipment Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and unit efficiency Collaborate with other departments, including admissions, social services, and dietary to ensure seamless transitions and optimal care About-the-Role As a Licensed Practical Nurse Unit Manager at Vivo Healthcare Harbourwood, you will have the opportunity to work with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals who share your commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and improving outcomes.
