Patient Population: Oncology patients
Setting: Acute Care Hospital
Responsibilities: Ensure accuracy of radiation measurements, oversee brachytherapy procedures, perform equipment calibration, participate in chart reviews and departmental meetings, contribute to radiation safety and administrative functions
Required Procedures: Radiation therapy planning and quality assurance, brachytherapy oversight, equipment commissioning and calibration
Support Staff: Oncology team and radiation oncology department staff
Days Per Month: Full-time
Requirements:
- Master s degree in Medical Physics
- American Board of Radiology certification
- Minimum 1 year experience in cancer treatment setting
- Experience in Varian treatment environment (preferred)
