Permanent Medical Physicist - Radiation Oncology in Boise, ID.

Position Type: Permanent
Specialty: Physician - Radiation Oncology
Rate: Open & Negotiable
Shift: Full-time day shift
Patient Population: Oncology patients
Setting: Acute Care Hospital
Responsibilities: Ensure accuracy of radiation measurements, oversee brachytherapy procedures, perform equipment calibration, participate in chart reviews and departmental meetings, contribute to radiation safety and administrative functions
Required Procedures: Radiation therapy planning and quality assurance, brachytherapy oversight, equipment commissioning and calibration
Support Staff: Oncology team and radiation oncology department staff
Days Per Month: Full-time

Requirements:

Master s degree in Medical Physics
American Board of Radiology certification
Minimum 1 year experience in cancer treatment setting
Experience in Varian treatment environment (preferred)
