Job Responsibilities
- Craft Personalized Therapy Plans: Assess individual patient needs to develop tailored treatment strategies aimed at achieving their functional objectives.
- Implement Evidence-Based Interventions: Employ research-driven methods to enhance patients' motor skills, cognitive functions, and capacity for daily activities.
- Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work alongside OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to ensure comprehensive and holistic patient care.
- Educate Patients and Families: Share knowledge with patients and their care providers about therapy techniques to facilitate continued progress at home.
- Monitor Progress and Adjust Plans: Keep track of clinical improvements and modify treatment plans as necessary to maintain effective care.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university.
- Continuing education and post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported.
- Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) licensure.
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required.
- A genuine passion for helping people achieve their highest potential of independence.
