Job Responsibilities
  • Craft Personalized Therapy Plans: Assess individual patient needs to develop tailored treatment strategies aimed at achieving their functional objectives.
  • Implement Evidence-Based Interventions: Employ research-driven methods to enhance patients' motor skills, cognitive functions, and capacity for daily activities.
  • Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work alongside OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to ensure comprehensive and holistic patient care.
  • Educate Patients and Families: Share knowledge with patients and their care providers about therapy techniques to facilitate continued progress at home.
  • Monitor Progress and Adjust Plans: Keep track of clinical improvements and modify treatment plans as necessary to maintain effective care.
Educational Requirements
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university.
  • Continuing education and post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported.
Certifications Needed
  • Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) licensure.
  • NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required.
