Candidates must possess a valid Hawaii License by the start of the assignment.Please note that no requests for time off will be granted during the first 13 weeks of the contract.Individuals will be required to show proof of flu vaccination or an approved application for a medical or religious exception before the start date. The flu vaccination can be administered during the employee health clearance appointment.LicensureA current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a radiographer is required.CertificationCertification as a radiologic technologist through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Computed Tomography is mandatory, along with a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.General RequirementsApplicants must have a minimum of two (2) years of work experience in an acute hospital setting. Responsibilities include:Scanning per radiologist protocolsPerforming routine CT scans independentlyPreferred experience includes:Familiarity with Meditech EMRExperience with Canon/Toshiba CT unitsUtilization of Vitrea workstationVenipuncture skillsPerforming MIP, MPR, and 3D imagingProcedures such as biopsies or drainagesKnowledge in vascular or cardiac imaging, trauma, or stroke management
