Physician - Medical Oncology

Job Details:

• Provide medical oncology coverage Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with 30-minute unpaid lunch
• 6-month contract with option to extend
• See 12-15 patients per day in oncology department
• Treat adult patient population (18+)
• Perform inpatient consults and see new referral patients for both oncology and hematology
• Diagnose and stage cancer, develop and implement treatment plans including chemotherapy and immunotherapy
• Work with comprehensive support team including oncology RNs, nurse navigators, medical assistants, and clinical pharmacists
• Use ONCO EMR system for clinic and Cerner for hospital
• Refer patients to interventional radiology for bone marrow biopsies when necessary
• Board certification in Medical Oncology or Hematology Oncology required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year experience required
• DEA and CSR required
