We are seeking a highly motivated, disciplined, and skilled Tax Manager who is looking for an opportunity to excel in a small firm while maintaining a work-life balance.In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing tax returns, working closely with clients, and mentoring mid-level staff. Please note that this is an on-site position. One of the senior partners is transitioning into retirement, creating clear and rapid advancement opportunities for the right candidate.QualificationsCPA or EA License Certification (Florida) preferred not required7+ years of tax preparationBachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance or a related fieldAbility to maintain strict confidentiality, strong ethics and business conductAble to thrive in a deadline-oriented environmentExperience working for a CPA firm requiredApplicant must be authorized to work in the U.S.Primary ResponsibilitiesPreparing financial statements and corporate tax returns (may also prepare some personal returns if necessary)Filing payroll tax returns and sales tax returnsAssisting clients in resolving tax matters with the IRSWorks as required during tax season to meet federal and state deadlinesJob Type: Full-timePay: $120,000.00 - $130,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k) matchingDisability insuranceHealth insurancePaid time off
