Low Voltage Technician
Location: Albuquerque, NM Pay rate: $22-28/HR

Position Summary
Anistar is seeking an experienced Structured Cable Technicians to provide assistance with the installation, termination, and testing of various types of voice and data cables as well as security/access control equipment. MUST be comfortable working from a lift.
Job Responsibilities
- Pulling and routing CAT5e or CAT6 cable in a new construction and existing structure commercial environment
- Access control installation
- WAP Installation
- Terminating data jacks
- Installing support structures (ladder rack, D-rings, j-hooks)
- Rack installation
- Rack N' Stack of equipment and servers
- Pulling/splicing fiber optic cable
- Dressing cables
- Patching
The Ideal Candidate Will Possess The Following
- 4+ years' experience installing and servicing voice and data systems in a commercial environment.
- Ownership of basic telecom tools: Punch down, snips, wire strippers, cordless drill, Hard Hat, Boots, Safety Glasses, etc.
- Familiarity with BICSI, EIA, TIA or NEC Standards.
