Qualified Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join a growing team in Fort Valley, Ga.

This is a Direct Hire Opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and review vendor invoices for accuracy and proper documentation
• Perform vendor and customer account reconciliations
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies, deductions, chargebacks, credits, and payment issues
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
• Issue customer invoices and ensure timely billing
• Apply cash receipts and remittances accurately
• Monitor aging reports and assist with collections efforts
• Maintain deduction logs, dispute tracking, and resolution reporting
• Support month-end close activities and audit requests
• Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve account issues
• Help improve accounting processes and maintain accurate financial records

Qualifications:

• Must have 5+ years of accounting, AP, AR, billing, collections, or reconciliation experience
• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, wholesale, retail, CPG, or other inventory-based environments required
• Strong understanding of deductions, chargebacks, account reconciliations, and payment research
• Advanced attention to detail and organizational skills Strong Excel skills
• Experience with QuickBooks, Bill.com, ERP, WMS, or similar accounting systems preferred
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
