TheRecruitersupports the management and human resources teams with full cycle recruiting and other HR responsibilities related to recruiting and onboarding. We are seeking customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety.

• Competitive compensation package of minimum $52,000- maximum $65,000


Benefits include:


• Vacation: minimum of two (2) weeks


• Sick time: 40 hours


• Holidays: 12 days; 8 standard and 4 floating

Key Responsibilities:

• Full-cycle recruiting responsibilities including reviewing new applications, scheduling & hosting interviews, and hiring candidates through the Application Tracking System - Jobvite.
• Conduct orientation with new employees.
• Create and maintain employee files - complete all new hire EEO/AAP documents and onboarding paperwork.
• Coordinate background screening processes including pre-employment drug testing and DOT physicals.
• Quality Assurance Checks ensuring compliance with background checks, drug and alcohol screens, and E-Verify requirements.
• Support employees with internal and external transfer requests and procedures.
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of Recruiting experience, preferably in a DOT industry
• College course work in a related field is preferred.
• Computer literate with intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
• Subject to DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.

Physical Requirements:


The essential functions of this position require the ability to:

• Work is generally performed indoors within climate-controlled facilities.
• The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.
• The employee must be able to hear and speak in English as much of the work will be conducted by phone.
• The employee may need to push and pull objects up to10pounds, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to50lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level
