RN ED- Emergency Department
Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Geneva, NY. This role involves delivering high quality, compassionate care to patients and families within the emergency department environment. The position demands a proactive approach to emergency nursing care, ensuring urgent or emergent needs are prioritized and managed effectively.

Key Responsibilities of the Emergency Department Registered Nurse:
- Assess patient needs, identify care priorities, and provide direct care with appropriate interventions
- Manage life-threatening and routine emergency situations using invasive and non-invasive procedures
- Conduct primary and secondary assessments using direct observation, interviews, and EMS reports
- Encourage teamwork and cooperation among team members for optimal patient outcomes
- Prepare patients and families for diagnostic procedures and educate them on continuing care at home
- Maintain ongoing communication with patients and families throughout their ED stay
Requirements of the Emergency Department Registered Nurse:
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Stroke Certification (Must be AHA or RQI)
- Two years of acute hospital experience as an RN
- One year of ED hospital experience as an RN
- NYS RN Licensure
