Physician - Anesthesiologist

Anesthesiology - PhysicianAnestria Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring an Anesthesiologist for a temporary assignment in Hanover, Pennsylvania. These positions are 13-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.Responsibilities for an Anesthesiologist:Provide anesthesiology services in an Ambulatory Surgery Center setting working Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm with a 30-minute lunch breakSupport and medically direct CRNAs, providing coverage 2-3 weeks per monthPerform medical direction as well as independent anesthesia casesProvide anesthesia care for patients of all ages, including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics, with occasional cases involving patients under 1 year of age (e.g., ENT tubes and tonsils)Administer anesthesia for outpatient cases across all specialties, excluding cardiac and OBPerform orthopedic cases with regional blocks, which represent a significant portion of the caseloadMaintain Board Certification in Anesthesiology (Board Certified only; Board Eligible not accepted)Maintain active Pennsylvania (PA) license or IMLC Letter of Qualification (LOQ)Maintain active DEA registrationMaintain current PALS, ACLS, and BLS certificationsDemonstrate a minimum of 2+ years of anesthesiology experienceUtilize Epic EMR system for clinical documentation and chartingComplete full credentialing and privileging compliance requirements 2 weeks prior to start dateSubmit required credentialing documents, including Social Security Number, photo, and PATCH results within 5 days of signingSchedule Child Abuse Search and Department of Human Services Fingerprint collection, with results received within 2 weeks of signingComply with all health requirements including vaccines, physical examination, and fit testingBenefits for an Anesthesiologist:Weekly pay every FridayComprehensive Professional Malpractice Insurance24/7 Recruitment SupportFull-service Credentialing and Corporate Travel TeamReferral Bonus up to $5,000Astrya Global Medical Staffing offers 10+ years of staffing experience, 100% domestic support, and is certified by both the Joint Commission and National Association of Locum Tenens Organizations.
