Senior Specialist Customer Account

Job Overview Position: Senior Customer Account Specialist – Amazon. Focus on Coffee & Beverage categories. You serve as the primary contact for assigned Amazon categories, calling on key indirect groups that support the Amazon account team, driving category growth, and delivering annual sales and commercial spend targets. Responsibilities Customer Account Ownership (20% of role) Drive category growth and achieve annual sales and commercial spend targets. Develop and execute category‑driving business plans such as new item presentations, 4P‑focused initiatives, and other customer presentations. Support business planning tools through proper distribution tracking, promotion administration, forecasting, and deduction management. Effectively manage commercial spend to achieve sales volume and trade spend goals, including administration, record‑keeping, tracking and follow‑up. Participate in the development of Customer Category Business Plan(s) with Amazon and collaborate on execution. Collaborate with Sales Finance Manager on monthly financial reconciliation. Account Forecasting & Analysis (80% of role) Lead analytics for the Amazon Coffee & Beverage portfolio, utilizing available tools and building custom data tracking to support business needs. Lead monthly forecasting reviews and recommendations across the portfolio in collaboration with CAMs, Director and cross‑functional teams. Use deep understanding of customer needs to proactively provide business recommendations. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams using multiple data sources, including Amazon Vendor Central, syndicated and shipment data, to recommend forecast adjustments. Communicate customer/category and forecast information with Amazon team and Nestlé counterparts in commercial development and supply chain. Serve as the primary point of contact for Amazon Vendor Services relationship. Participate in career development programs and adopt capability tools. Develop critical behaviors through the PDP process and act as peer coach. Ensure effective communication with Commercial Development, Shopper Marketing and Supply Chain partners. Requirements University Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of related work experience. 1+ years of experience in a previous Account Management role or similar. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. Strong presentation and analytical skills. Experience leading/owning projects on previous teams. Track record of delivering on KPI objectives in prior roles. Thorough understanding of sales fundamentals. Strong communication skills, both oral and written, sound judgment, good problem‑solving, strategic thinking, and customer‑service orientation. Ability to take initiative and execute with minimal supervision. Capacity to challenge current processes and propose innovative improvements. Proactive in resolving issues, ensuring stakeholders are appropriately informed. Persistent effort to achieve goals and maintain high productivity. Ability to identify opportunities beyond expected responsibilities. Compensation & Benefits The approximate pay range for this position is $94,000 to $130,000.
