Now hiring for a Warehouse Forklift Operator Location: Vandalia, OH Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour Schedule: 12-hour shift, 7 pm to 7 am, on a 2-2-3 rotation. Will train on the night shift for an 8-hour shift all week. This opportunity lets you safely transport materials, support inventory movement, and help maintain efficient warehouse and distribution operations.

Job Duties: Will be responsible for the operation of sit-down electric forklifts. Moving material and stocking supplies in the production area. Use scanners and record information from containers. Loading and unloading trucks

Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous warehouse training or powered industrial truck training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements Experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial equipment safely and efficiently. Ability to load, unload, move, stack, and organize palletized materials. Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and safe equipment operation. Ability to accurately identify inventory, shipping documentation, and storage locations. Strong attention to detail, dependable attendance, and commitment to workplace safety.

Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or shipping and receiving is preferred. Current forklift certification or experience operating multiple classes of powered industrial equipment is beneficial. Experience using RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), or inventory software is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate safe operating practices, teamwork, reliability, and productivity are well positioned for success as a Warehouse Forklift Operator.

Physical Capabilities Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and climb on and off powered industrial equipment throughout the shift. Ability to lift, move, or reposition materials weighing up to 50 pounds when required. Ability to safely operate forklifts in busy warehouse and manufacturing environments. Ability to maintain awareness of surrounding personnel, equipment, and inventory while operating powered industrial vehicles.
